Our Mission

The key to aging well is living well.  Our approach to the care of our residents is to help them balance their lives in key areas or dimensions of wellness.

No two individuals are identical in either the rate or the capacilty in which they age.  Our premise is that everyone can achieve an optimum standard of health, fulfillment and purpose, regardless of their age-related limitations or perceived disabilities.  This is achieved by bringing together a variety of  activities and opportunities designed to cultivate an overall sense of wellbeing and fulfillment in each resident.

The path to achieving life's goals is unique to each individual, recognizing past and present abilities and circumstances.  We support each resident's highest level of wellbeing by individualized care in a tranquil and beautiful home setting.

TESTIMONIAL

On several occasions I have had the opportunity to spend time with the residents at Primrose Cottage. The environment is homey, peaceful and conducive to quality care. The interior space is open and airy with private rooms situated so residents can be observed at all times. Two full length decks along the front and back provide comfortable, yet contained outdoor space that is safe and allows for viewing of the beautiful country surroundings.

The supervision and care for the residents is loving and totally centered on their needs including appropriate activities, healthy and delicious meals and solicitous dedication to their individual needs. Town trips, time spent near the river and frequent visitors and guests adds to the stimulation necessary for a healthy social life. A small dog provides pleasant nurturing companionship and beautiful gardens surrounding the house adds to the ambience of a perfect residential home.

I recommend Primrose Cottage to anyone seeking resident care for their elders with the assurance they will get the quality and care that they want for their loved ones.
